Signing up for services is easy. Simply request an initial meeting and we will come to your home so we may meet and learn more about your pets needs. We will go over your dogs past medical history, obedience training completed, temperament, and what services will best fit your dog. Daily Dog Walking services can start immediately. Doggone Fit™ Adventure Trip seekers will initially have vigorous walks and playtime so the walker and dog can bond, and the walker can further assess temperament. Once the walker is comfortable in introducing the dog to their new off/on leash group, the dog will be introduced to a group appropriately chosen for his/her temperament. Please note: entry key must be provided at initial meeting or an additional fee for key pick up will apply.
We give the same level of care be it rain, snow or sunshine. We take proper precautions to ensure pets are comfortable during extreme hot or cold days.
This can vary from group to group. The most one staff person will have in a group is eight. Any amount over eight will have additional staff on board to assist in monitoring the group.
We have many season passes to some of New England finest hiking trails and conservation areas. We DO NOT go to dog parks. We prefer to have nice controlled groups that enjoy the quiet country side, rather than the sometimes hectic atmosphere some un-monitored, ill behaved dogs provide at a dog park.
The beauty of this services is..NO! We take care of all the work for you. We arrive at times discussed during our initial meeting, provide services scheduled, and your dog is home to greet you from your day.
Many people are not aware that Dog Walking/Pet Sitting are not regulated industries. You need absolutely no experience, there is no "certification", training, etc. Very sad knowing that these are people coming in and out of homes and caring for our furry loved ones. We at Doggone Fit™ take pride in providing Professional Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services. We have only the most experienced staff, we're background checked, bonded, insured and pet first aid certified. In our own time we study, attend seminars, and be sure we are up to date on all that is Canine. Our services are top notch!
